Safari Zoo Run 2012

It was a nice easy run with plenty of interesting sights, sounds and smells (animals' poos!) along the way. Weather was quite cool and there were shades from all the trees so it wasn't that hot. Maybe because of all the photo-taking and stopping for drinks probably that made today's run easier. Was just relaxing and not pushing thou some of the parents abit kiasu want their kids to run faster keke....

The only snag was morning's jam on the way to the zoo the car park was all full! So no choice we have to park at the road side. We managed to reach just in the nick of time, so that goes to show that it's never too early to set off.

And we like this year finisher's medal and even a monkey key-chain as memento very special.

Voyage De La Vie 生之旅 @ Resort World Sentosa (圣淘沙名胜世界)

Thanks to a friend, I managed to grab a complimentary ticket to this show, and saw for the first time - a real-life circus/acrobatic/theatre performance.I was pretty proud of the product.

“Voyage de la Vie” or the “journey of life” is a story of a boy’s metaphoric journey, or a rite of passage before he becomes an adult.

Voyage de la Vie is fantastic! The stage, lighting, pyrotechnics, props, music and costume, just one word to describe it -- Fantastic! It was one of the higher production value shows I've been to, and it does make the experience more pleasurable. The gigantic dragon pillars at the sides of the Festive Grand theatre stage were the amazing, and the use of lighting makes it spectacular!

The theater is world classed. Great acoustics, comfy seats, great views... Two thumbs up!
